DENAPOX E - two-component epoxideacrylate dispersi [ Výrobek nebo zboží k prodeji ]

DENAS COLOR, a.s. - 44
DENAPOX E - two-component epoxideacrylate dispersion enamel -

DENAPOX E
is a two-component, water based enamel specified for top finishing coatings of metal segments and structures primed with DENAPOX Z or DENAKOR priming coats. The acrylate A component contains a special dispersion, anorganic and organic pigments, coalescents, biocidal, soaking, and dispergating agents, rheological modifiers, defoamer, and other admixtures suitably modifying the properties of the coating composition. It contains no aromatic thinners and in comparison with traditional thinner based enamels it has minimum effects on both health and environment. Only water is used to clean the tools and the thinned enamel residues are degradable biologically.

Use: DENAPOX E is used as top finishing coat for steel, galvanized, and aluminium structures coated with the DENAPOX Z or DENAKOR antirusting primers. It is suitable for surface finishes of metal segments and structures manufactured in metal processing industry plants and for industrial applications on structures exposed to high corrosion and chemical attacks.

Properties:
Density: 1,2 - 1,3 kg per liter
Weight solids: 50 - 54 %
pH: 8 - 10
Volume solids: 38 - 42 %
This enamel features very good chemical resistance, weather resistance, excellent adherence to various subgrades, long lifetime under maintenance of appearance and colour shade, very low dirt-up rate, and high gloss.

Prepare: Prior to application the both paint components, A:B, shall be mixed together in a ratio of 100:9 whereby the component B should be always added under steady stirring into the A component. The stirring is done by means of a suitable stirring device (i.e. drilling machine fitted with a propeller), manual stirring is not permitted. The mixing ratios of both components can be changed after agreement with the manufacturer according to final property requirements specified, in some cases the A component can be used separately without the epoxide component.

Paint application: The enamel is applied by brush, roll, or by spraying in one of more layers with a pause between the individual coatings of 4 hours as minimum. It is recommended to consult the number and thicknesses of layers with the manufacturer prior to application. The processability of the hardener added composition is 12 hours. The temperature of air and subgrade must not drop below +5 °C during application and drying of the coating. At lower temperatures the enamel does not produce a perfect film and both the quality and lifetime of the coat decrease.

Theoretical spreading rate: 5 - 7 m2 from 1 kg per one coating. The enamel in the consistency as supplied is specified for direct use, if necessary it may be thinned by a small amount of water - 3 % maximum.

Tinge: It is manufactured in shades acc. to RAL colour samples or possibly in other colour shades agreed upon.

Packaging and storing: It is packed in plastic or metal packages of 0.8 to 40 kgs weight. With the appropriate amount of the B component attached. The product should be stored in its original packages at temperatures +5 °C to +25 °C at places protected against direct sun and sudden temperature fluctuations. Its shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Safety and hygiene: DENAPOX HARDENER contains epoxid component which irritated the skin and eyes according to R 36/38-43. Use personal protective equipment and follow the personal hygiene principles when working with the paint. Ensure proper ventilation of working area. When spraying the paint, use respiratory protection. Rinse the stained skin with water and soap, rinse affected eyes with a stream of water, int serious cases seek a medical treatment.
