DENAS COLOR, a.s. - 27
DENATOP P/51 - dispersive acrylate enamel for plastics and metals

DENATOP P/51
is a unary water diluted fast-drying enamel formed on the basis of acrylate dispersion containing coloured pigments, fillers, dispersive agents, detergents and biocides, coalescents, and other additives aptly affecting the properties of the substance.

Use: The surface finish of plastics, the top finishing coats of metallic structures in various branches of metal-working industry and the coating in woodworking industry. The product is particularly suitable for application at constant temperature in paint shops and for application when warming up the products. The application must always be consulted with the supplier or the producer.

Properties:
Density: 1.05 - 1.25 kg/m2
Mass dry substance: 35 - 50%
pH: 8 - 10
Volume dry substance: 33 - 43% The enamel is characterized by very fast drying and fast increase of abhesion and hardness of the coating, by excellent cohesion to plastics and steel, to wood and other materials, by long operating life, and by being highly weatherproof and resistant to UV radiation.

Ground preparation: Metal grounds must be painted with the priming anticorrosive paint DENAKOR P, DENAKOR HG 56, or DENAKOR SD. With plastics the enamel can be applied directly or after a preliminary treatment advised by the producer. We advise to test each application and let it approve by the producer.

Enamel application: The enamel is spray-painted on the ground. It is supplied in a consistence adapted to the method of application. We advise to consult the method and conditions of application (the temperature, the volatilization and ripening time, etc.) and the thickness of the coats always with the producer beforehand. The air and ground temperature during the application and drying of the enamel must not drop below +18 °C. We advise to finish drying the coat at a higher temperature.

Theoretical spreading capacity: 5 - 7 m2 out of one kg for one coat when the thickness of the dry layer is 50 m.

Shades: In accordance with the swatches RAL, EUROTREND, NCS, ČSN, or in shades by arrangement in a glossy, half-matt, matt or structural design.

Packaging and storage: Packed in plastic or sheet metal packages with the capacity of 0.8- 35 kg. Storage in original packages at temperatures from +5 to +25 °C at places protected against direct sunshine and sudden changes of temperature. The storage life is 12 months from the date of production.

Security and hygiene: DENATOP P/51 is not harmful in the sense of valid regulations. When working, use protective aids and observe the personal hygiene principles. When spraying, protect your respiratory organs; in bounded spaces provide aeration of the workplace. If eyes are hit, wash them out with a large amount of clean water and seek medical treatment.

Waste liquidation: Empty metal packages should be taken to a salvage collector, waste code: 150104. Plastic packages should be liquidated as other waste, waste code: 150102. Paint remainders and impure packages should be liquidated as dangerous waste, waste code: 080111.
